Lies Dwarf Facts
Climbing ivy has two colours. It looks pretty during the summer, dressed in green and drab in winter when the same leaves turn brown. I’m partial to green. You may like brown, winter’s default colour, but that is immaterial. The fact remains that climbing ivy is a parasite, the wall is the prey. It has one goal: covering the wall completely.
That is how audacious parasites are: total domination. People in so-called underdeveloped countries still get their food and fuel from the forest, so they can give you an example of a parasite plant that killed the host plant, that gave it food and water. Call it biting the hand that feeds you.
Which brings us to lies. Lies are a parasite. The intention is sending the truth to an early grave. Let’s shelve the forest for now and concentrate on a country called the U.S.A. It is facing a climbing ivy situation because Americans will vote for a new president on 5 November.
The election is the fight for the wall, America itself. Voters are faced with the truth and lies. Hold it. Don’t bring that up. You know very well that truth is subjective. It depends on who is talking. True. True dat. But surely, what we see is the truth. As professors said in our journalism class, answer these questions: who, what, where, when and why?
On 6 January 2021, Americans saw Trump’s disciples scale the Capitol like climbing ivy, with the intention of forcing their way in to crush the truth. Which is? America voted. Vice President Mike Pence was ready to do his job and certify the election.
That is what American voters will be voting for in November, to protect the wall.
