Donald Trump Is No Elephant

Online pic: Botswana, southern Africa.
How does a huge thing like an elephant scratch itself?
Through little birds that ride on its back and peck, peck, peck away.

You’ve never been to Africa or India therefore, you’ve never seen an elephant. But you know they are huge and also have non-existent eyes. What happens if elephants itch, like the rest of us? They cannot scratch themselves because they are cumbersome. The tusk is cumbersome. Ears are cumbersome therefore, they cannot literally lift a finger to scratch themselves.

That is why you see little white birds riding on them. They are on the job, using their beaks to scratch big brother.  In real life, we have the United States of America with its big arms that embrace Alaska and Florida, LA and New York. How does such a country scratch itself? Through a system of laws agreed upon, for the survival of the entity. Such laws are glued together by grout called the justice system.

That system cannot be dismantled by one man, who regards himself as the elephant. If the U.S. Supreme Court insists that Donald Trump is an elephant, that can trample cornfields, and even kill the little birds that scratch its back, then both the court and the elephant will be washed away by floods. Democracy is the grout that holds everything together.
