Oops! Not yet. Joseph Biden, U.S. President was born on 20 November 1942.

Jill Biden: Mr. President, what would you like for your 2024  birthday?

President Biden: The unknown voter. 

This will be a special birthday for the American president although he is no longer the presidential nominee. Kamala Harris is. But he hopes the unknown voter will also step up for her.

LOOKING BACK TO 2020

1. This is the voter that does not know Biden’s age and does not listen to recycled opinion that he is too old for the job and should not run in 2024.

2. The unknown voter does not know the Democratic Party’s position on the economy, Ukraine, climate change or abortion, but there’s something about Joe’s face that calms him.

3. The unknown voter does not know a lot about most issues because he does not have a computer and internet service. He only has Joe’s face and has no qualms about saying, he is my President.

4. The power of the unknown voter is followers. No, not online followers, but people who are on the same page with him. They just like the President. They don’t march with placards written: Joe’s My Guy.

5. The unknown voter doesn’t know what a poll is. You can give him an explanation but he’ll probably shake his head and say: how can anyone know what tomorrow will bring? 

Polls were flawed back then and they are useless now because of the internet. Even the massive internet cannot detect the unknown voter.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? No Air Miles

I don’t have Air Miles.   I’m considering putting that on a T-Shirt because I cannot go to the drugstore (chemist) or coffee shop without the cashier asking me if I have air miles. We waited for about two minutes the other day, while this guy looked for his Air Miles card in his overweight wallet.   For what?   For a few points. I don’t have air miles because Mathematics is a foreign language.   I was never good in numbers. That is why I squashed the idea of being an investment banker very early in life.   I understand you can invest in cornfields before the soil is turned up or pork bellies even before a baby pig is born. That is how I view air miles, investing in tomorrow or the unknown.   I’m the dumb one.   Some people understand this air miles’ thing so well, I overheard one customer saying: I can even convert my points into cash.
