Georgia Judge Rejects Un-American Activities

Freedom is not a campaign slogan from the Harris/Walz campaign. It is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. I was perpetually amazed when I arrived in New York for college. Americans did things that could court jail and community scorn in most countries. American classmates shrugged them off and said it was freedom to do as you please, within the confines of the law and not encroaching on another person’s freedom.

Freedom to vote is the most precious and Georgia, a former slave state leads the pack in states that want to restrict, discourage voting and put unconstitutional mechanisms that will make election fraud possible.

A court in Georgia is having none of that: “If election superintendents were, as Plaintiff urges, free to play investigator, prosecutor, jury and judge and so - because of a unilateral determination of error or fraud - refuse to certify election results. Georgia voters would be silenced,” Fulton County Superior Judge Robert McBurney wrote in his decision. “Our Constitution and our Election Code do not allow for that to happen.” SOURCE: NPR online 15 October 2024.
