Revenge politics seem to be the norm in the U.S. while Canada practises referee politics. Children are the future, but not when they don’t know how their countries are governed. The school system teaches direct politics not referee politics like what is happening in Canada.

The New Democratic Party (NDP) is not the majority party, but it indirectly rules Canada by playing the Liberal Party against the opposition Conservative Party. Referee politics is different from revenge politics common in the U.S. Example. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia is Donald Trump’s biggest fan. She is the main conductor of the: you impeached my president now I’ll impeach yours Joe Biden, chamber music. 

Mom and dad are the best teachers for inculcating the importance of voting, the same way they start telling babies about religion, before teething. Yes, parents should teach kids about political floor plans. The NDP is regarded as a workers’ party. The Conservative Party protects the interests of big business and the Liberals are known for being part-time socialists and part-time capitalists, depending on which way the wind blows. But, referee politics can change floor plans.

NDP Referee Politics

1. The New Democratic Party (NDP) is a minority party. It cut a, scratch my back I’ll scratch yours deal with the Liberal Party. That’s how kids under 12 get free dental care. It was an NDP demand.

2. Sometime last year, the Conservative Party accused China of interfering in the last federal election, causing it to lose. The NDP sided with it and called for David Johnston’s resignation. He was the special rapporteur appointed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to investigate the alleged Chinese interference.

3. The NDP won again a few months ago, when the government announced Bill C-58, legislation that will prevent it from hiring replacement workers, during a strike or lock-out. It was an NDP demand.

Referee politics should be part and parcel of teaching kids about politics. You don’t have to win elections. You can be a referee and play the Prime Minister and opposition against each other.

Forget democracy.   It should be called political bullying. Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Internet Manners

The internet and mama have something in common: manners.   They believe that always say Hi! To people you meet. Home is where the heart is, but it is rough being at home these digital days.   People are so tied up in chat rooms, Instagram, Twitter, FB, YouTube or Google mania, they don’t have a minute to say hi or good night to people they share a toilet or kitchen with.
