Affirmative Action Not Mentioned in Sports

Deion Sanders, 'Coach Prime' football Head Coach, Colorado University.

Below  is old blog, 1 August 2023.

'He’s black.’

African American professionals used to hear that gasp when they adjusted the podium to talk about technology, medicine, science, finance or chess. It’s the American way. Black people are treated like buffet items. You choose some, find them edible, copy right them and call them American. You don’t acknowledge it’s the black genius. Elvis Presley is one example.

The buffet also applies to physical tolerance. Certain groups are very happy about the U.S. Supreme Court decision to strike down affirmative action in college submissions because they can only tolerate the black race in football, basketball, baseball, track and field or music. Not in ‘intellectual’ spaces like college lecture halls and engineering conventions.

Deion Sanders and Colorado

The University of Colorado had a problem with its football department. Who can fix it? Rick George, Athletic Director identified Deion Sanders, nationally known as ‘Coach Prime.’ Is he black?

Money is involved. That’s why I haven’t seen any online opinion about Sanders being an affirmative action beneficiary. The black race, is the only race in America that does not have an iota of intelligence. Organizations only hire it because of affirmative action. That is the narrative. The University of Colorado did not entertain that because of business, strictly business.

Deion Sanders is the man who can help us recoup our losses. That’s all they think about. ‘Coach Prime’ has done more than that. The Colorado Buffs spring game was sold out, despite mother nature’s little hiccup. Snow. The first two fall season games are also sold out. Hotels might be booked already, cab companies and all business is salivating at the dollars to be had because of the Coach Prime effect.

A little bird told me one woman in Canada is contemplating buying some black and gold T-shirts, track suits, jackets and other Colorado University apparel. Canada? But that is hockey country. Yes indeed, it’s called the Coach Prime effect across the border.

I respect his coaching and consistency; his experience and expectations; his assertiveness and alignment; his candor and commitment; his planning and productivity and his empowerment and empathy for kids under his watch.

Deion Sanders is a falcon in his craft. He loves what he does and he does it well. There are examples of this genius in law, engineering, politics, colleges, technology and all walks of life in America. Affirmative action was designed to utilize buffet items America could not steal, white wash, copy right and sell.
