Donald Trump and 'Hostages'

What makes the blood boil, is Donald Trump’s lackadaisical mention of hostages. His disciples, that stormed the Capitol, the bastion of American democracy on 6 January 2021, are supposedly, ‘hostages’ and he will free them when he becomes the president-elect in November 2024. Talk about being delusional. These ‘hostages’ are currently behind bars for the 6 January crime against the American people.

Donald Trump must be the only person on planet earth, who doesn’t  know that most hostages are not in American jails. They are dead and dead men tell no tales. Trump doesn’t care about anything except himself, so he probably doesn’t know that 9/11 had hostages, but they died with the suicide bombers.

They were Americans. They were not in Kuwait, Libya or Iraq. They were in America. They boarded local flights, in Boston, Newark and Washington D.C. What these ordinary American citizens didn’t know was that, there were terrorists on board, with the ulterior motive to demonstrate to America, that the violence America inflicts abroad in the name of ‘protecting democracy’, can be done on American soil.

If Americans travelled more, they would know what other countries think about them. Not that it matters to Donald Trump.

We are watching it in the prelude to the Canadian election on the 19 th of October, 2015.   Americans have also started their political bullying for the looming presidential election next year. Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Internet Manners

The internet and mama have something in common: manners.   They believe that always say Hi! To people you meet. Home is where the heart is, but it is rough being at home these digital days.   People are so tied up in chat rooms, Instagram, Twitter, FB, YouTube or Google mania, they don’t have a minute to say hi or good night to people they share a toilet or kitchen with. Thank god for internet players.   They say hi to me when I re-open a document after a thirty minutes’ break.   It’s all automated, but it is nice when the computer calls me by my name and encourages me to continue, where I left off.
