U.S. courts are fighting to keep the justice system above water, despite the deluge of paperwork from Donald Trump . Problem is: does he think this is making him pussy-cat-adorable to November voters?

What is a banana republic?

1. A country where one strong man rules with fear.

2. A country where he usurped power, saying he’s the ruler, when he’s not.

3. A country where the strong man ‘fixes’ election results to win.

4. A country where there is one constitution: his own.

5. A country where the said strong man does not recognize a sitting legitimately elected president.

6. A country where the judge and jury system is non-existent.

7. A country where judges and witnesses are attacked at home by strong man loyalty thugs.

8. A country where congressmen resign, to avoid being part of the terror, the lie, the shame.

9. A country where the ruling party doesn’t pass any laws, just continues the vendetta that the strong man was cheated.

10. A country where citizens are so ashamed they say: No. Actually, I’m Canadian.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? The internet and mama have something in common: manners.   They believe that always say Hi! To people you meet. Home is where the heart is, but it is rough being at home these digital days.   People are so tied up in chat rooms, Instagram, Twitter, FB, YouTube or Google mania, they don’t have a minute to say hi or good night to people they share a toilet or kitchen with. Thank god for internet players.   They say hi to me when I re-open a document after a thirty minutes’ break.   It’s all automated, but it is nice when the computer calls me by my name and encourages me to continue, where I left off.
