The State of Georgia v Donald J. Trump
We seldom think about the election’s paper work, after a general or local election. We are too happy to care, if we voted for the right men and women. Well! We might be dejected if we listened to the polls, with their guesswork and voted for defeated candidates.
The 14 August 2023 indictment, The State of Georgia v. Donald John Trump, is a reminder that there’s a lot of filing involved, after voting has closed. Michael M. Roman, one of Trump’s co-defendants was the director of Trump’s fake electors in Georgia. All his racketeering resulted in a document called, CERTIFICATE OF THE VOTES OF THE 2020 ELECTORS FROM GEORGIA. Here’s a sample. Taste.
Act 79
On or about the 14th day of December 2020, DAVID JAMES SHAFER, SHAWN MICAH TRESHER STILL, CATHLEEN ALSTON LATHAM ……………….. committed the felony offense of IMPERSONATING A PUBLIC OFFICER, in violation of O.C.G.A 16-10-23, in Fulton County, Georgia, by unlawfully falsely holding themselves out as the duly elected, and qualified presidential electors from the State of Georgia …………..
This brings us to paper work and archives. The indictment says the intention was to mislead the following:
1. President of the United States Senate
2. Archivist of the United States
3. Georgia Secretary of State
4. Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia
This act, Act 79, is a reminder that after every election, there is administration and that involves a lot of paper and digital filing. African Americans in Georgia cherish the right to vote because it was denied, and is still in danger. They visit tombstones of those that died fighting for that right. They voted in 2020 but Donald Trump tried to steal their will. That is what the State of Georgia v. Trump is all about, defrauding voters.
