Prestigious Business Address?

What is a prestigious business address? It’s an office building a few men deemed important, and attached a dollar value to it. Trump Tower for example. The problem with such an address is its multiplier effect. All office buildings around it become ‘prestigious’ which results in a supply and demand scenario as more businesses want to rent office space there. 

I’m wondering if the $355 million penalty Judge Engoron slapped on Donald Trump for defrauding New York State will have an effect on Trump Tower. Will the ‘prestige’ be tainted like the owner’s reputation?

The ‘prestige’ is man-made, bank-made because New York State is humongous with tentacles like Brooklyn and Queens, but office buildings there are not as prestigious as Manhattan buildings, like Trump Tower.

New York City alone is so big, many people forget that it’s not the state capital. Albany is. Manhattan is the life and soul of business deals because men who own banks created it that way. I’m saying a few men because that is how real estate works. They own banks and decide the value of homes and office blocks. Why shouldn’t they? They own your house, Trump Tower and most of New York State buildings and businesses, through loans.

Having said that, I think Trump Tower will continue to be a landmark, whether a Saudi Arabia consortium or Hong Kong businessmen buy it.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein.
