We are mad at the internet for hypnotizing kids to the extent that, some don’t go to school. Because of the internet, they are also not work-proud like their parents who bore them to death with: “I put myself through school, thanks to part-time jobs.” 

The internet also exposes our secret about values, such as telling the truth. Lying is bad, but the same parents vote for politicians that lie through the teeth in broad daylight. Donald Trump is a ‘first’ for many reasons. It is still an enigma, how the seed of stopping Joe Biden’s certification on 6 January 2021, was planted in his mind. The seed developed baby roots. They became thicker and he came up with the idea of fake electors in Georgia and other states.

Parents that admonish kids about lying want to make us crazy and believe Trump’s lie, that insurrectionists are ‘patriots’ as he calls them. Worse still, the lie graduates into ‘fact’ and the storming of the Capitol becomes a figment of our imagination. It is not. January 6, 2021 is on tape. Parents that tell kids and grandkids that lying is bad, bad, bad, believe Trump’s lie so much, they want him back in the White House.

We blame the internet for all the bad things happening to kids, but adults lie on the regular and couch it in terms like: adjusting figures, rounding up totals, estimated profits, reconciling spreadsheets, projecting financial outcomes and putting a dollar value on lies that happen inside Trump Tower.

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is.
