The University of Gothenburg had a submersible called Ran. They sent it under the sea to measure something to do with glaciers. No humans inside because it is a robot, controlled long distance. Seemingly, the first run was successful. The robot (submersible) came back.

They sent it on a second mission. At the end of January, the University reported that Ran is no where to be found, probably ran into some problems under the sea. The news inevitably reminded the world of another submersible ‘submarine’ that got lost at sea. It was called the OceanGate Submersible but that one, had five billionaires who paid $250,000 for the under the sea ride to have a look at the Titanic wreck. Call it wreck tourism.

Bank Loans Detrimental To Nature

The Titanic had rich people on board, on an adventure. Poor people venture out of their humble homes to find money, to buy a can of sardines a billionaire took free from the sea, canned it and sold it to people who used to fish there free of charge, for millions of years. Billionaires use the profit to take ocean and space adventures. The OceanGate owners and University of Gothenburg probably had a bank loan. 

The sea is mad. Something is happening down there, despite our scientific and technological ‘knowledge.’ We have no business to be under the sea. That is why it’s under, and under means out of sight. Under the bed. Under the blankets. Banks justify these loans on advancement of mankind. All I know is that after science comes factories and products, that end up on supermarket shelves, with labels such as ‘salt free sea salt.’

Leave the sea alone.

Forget democracy.   It should be called political bullying. Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Einstein Passengers

Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is. Einstein is also a driving instructor.   “Careful.   Look at that guy.   Is he crazy or something? ” says Einstein. Einstein is the unofficial pilot.   He presses imaginary brakes in the passenger seat when the driver stops abruptly for a guy who is texting on his bicycle.
