Toronto Raptors Coach Wait for Official Announcement

Masai Ujiri.

Technically, there's no new Toronto Raptors coach until we get an official announcement from Masai Ujiri, President and Vice Chairman.

HERE'S THE MAY POST ABOUT HOW HE DOES THINGS

Masai Ujiri, Toronto Raptors’ President and Vice Chairman bides his time before wrapping up hard decisions. He is one person who knows that you cannot make an omelette without breaking eggs.

I hate going back in history, but it is legendary how Raptors won the 2019 NBA Championship because he broke some eggs, mainly separating Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. Lowry was mad as hell, from what we read, but he ended up being Kawhi Leonard’s best admirer.

Masai Ujiri infuriates NBA watchers. He doesn’t do what has always been done for 50 years. The February trade deadline came and went and he held on to his pieces. He only let go Khem Birch to bring back to Toronto, Jakobus Poeltl.

Let’s hope he can bring back Stanley Johnson a great player who never saw the light of day, sitting on that bench. In fact, Stanley is probably one of the reasons why Ujiri decided to be Vice Chairman. He felt betrayed so he decided to be part owner of the store.

Masai Ujiri is a patient man. He doesn’t work with a few eggs. His omelette includes white and brown eggs, small, medium and large, which is what he’s doing currently. We shall never know whether the omelette has a cheese filling or not, until he serves the new Toronto Raptors’ omelette.
