Prince William And Little Brother
Prince William remembers. He is older. He knows more than his brother Prince Harry so he explained the baffling situation between mum and dad.
Prince Charles, his brothers and all royal men are dead beat dads because they don’t raise their children. It’s the culture. Castles have different wings. Nannies and their assistants have their own. They feed, wash and dress the little princes and princesses and bring them down to their parents to be admired, or for photo shoots. Written history is a big fat lie. Before cellphones, photographs cemented the perfect British royal family, lie.
William remembers. He peeled it off and told his brother when and how things happened. He knows more than Harry because his formative years were when his father, the Prince of Wales and his mother Diana Princess of Wales were together.
I wanted to say under one roof but that would be misleading. The royal family lives here during the week, over there weekends, somewhere else during the summer, and another castle in winter. William remembers the royal trek more vividly than Harry.
William remembers things that made his mother cry and his father’s countenance towards her. William also remembers the third wheel: Camilla Parker Bowles. He is the one who filled the potholes in Harry’s memory.
William is also relieved that his brother just skimmed over the surface about what exactly happened between his parents. He knows, because he told Harry.
