Presidency Not An Heirloom Trump

After 6 January 2021, when U.S. enemies had a good laugh at the supposed democracy, it is imperative that men and women who want to be U.S.  president answer some questions.

The first question might sound elementary but anyone running for the White House must answer it. What is America? Very bright candidates will have a bullet answer ready: “When I’m president …….”

Slow presidential candidates will take a few minutes and ponder the gravity of the question. One thing for sure, they will not equate America with the self, me, mine or I. They understand that even a rock has different colors when put under a microscope, but it's a rock nonetheless.

Slow presidential candidates will give answers that might indicate cowardice at the possibility of being a conductor of such an entity, which belongs to a million plus Americans. Slow candidates will voice fear of letting it down, its name, colors and standing in the world.

Slow presidential candidates will not equate America with a reality show or the toy train in that vintage movie Arthur. Whatever religion they belong to, they will pray for the entity to live long, long after their death. Candidates should also take an oath before the election that any insurrection against the people’s vote is tantamount to treason.
