Prince Harry's Book Popcorn Critics

It's a condemnation tour, not a book tour. Prince Harry knows media didn't read SPARE. They picked some popcorn and recycled it. He's lucky with Meghan Markle, got happiness his mother never had.

Prince Harry the author. We’re super excited that SPARE, Prince Harry’s book is coming out 10 January, 2023. I’m the last person to be excited because royalty is not my cup of tea. I was born and raised in a colony of the British Empire so, I know the practical side of the royal family.

Having said that, I’m excited because SPARE will put ‘royal biographers’ out of business. How does one become one? Is it being born in that tradition that persecuted Prince Harry’s mum until her death, or anger that he found in Meghan Markle, happiness his mum never knew?

By the way, when Prince Harry was born, his mother Diana Princess of Wales said she now has an heir to the throne and a spare. Meghan Markle is the Spare’s wife. Talking about memoirs, the book might inspire you to write your family history.

Forget it. No publisher will touch your manuscript. You are not remotely related to the royal family and you’re not a former U.S. President. Have you considered self-publishing your memoir? You can approach family members to invest $2 000 each.

Not a good idea. That is definitely a kill-joy. You don’t want to lose your brother or cousins over something trifling like money. You know how family is with money. Remember all the fights about parents’ funerals, erecting tombstones, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas etc.?

Definitely not. Family won’t contribute to the publication of your memoir, but you are free to think about going solo, on self-publishing.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is.
