Cellphone Tripods vs School Books

Parents work two jobs each for various reasons. One of them is to buy digital things kids need to make them fit in. Forget the internet.

Yes, YouTube Shorts and TikTok are part of the internet but they are autonomous in a way and they need the tripod for stability, while they dance or do skits in front of the cellphone.

They can always ask friends or sisters to take the video, but having a tripod gives them the independence to shoot when and where they want. It’s not only the tripod, they also need lights. This costs money. How do parents know the price? Because kids present them with a budget.

What about school books and supplies?

Dad that can wait. All my friends are on YouTube Shorts and Tik Tok.

Low income parents don’t have money for these gadgets. They can barely put a balanced a diet on the table, let alone the brand name sneakers. But they will find money for the tripod, if it will bring stability to home peace.

They already said no to the laptop because the price is equivalent to wages from their two cleaning jobs. But, it is criminal for kids to ask struggling parents for a laptop. Beverly Hills and Bollywood kids can have as many laptops as they want because they have trust funds.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein.
