Political Umbrellas
“My political party is perfect.”
“Excuse me?”
“You heard me. Perfect. I love all that it stands for.”
“Not for me. Remember we vote for the same party.”
“That’s your problem.”
The notion of a ‘perfect’ political party presupposes there are ‘perfect’ men and women who end up being party leaders, and finally prime ministers, presidents or German Chancellor. In the case of the U.S. Democratic Party, there is hoarse voice about President Biden not being the perfect candidate to beat Donald Trump. Such a candidate doesn’t exist. It has never rained blood, and never will, climate change or not.
Joe Biden is ideal because he is an umbrella man. He is not an independent like Donald Trump, who works 24/7 to destroy the Republican Party umbrella. Joe Biden is effective under the umbrella aimed at protecting America from the impending hailstorm. News reports say rogue Democrats who represent that hoarse voice, feel they can produce a perfect candidate that can defeat Donald Trump, a man with no umbrella.
They must not even think about substituting Biden with the Vice President. That is what Trump wants. Kamala Harris is exceptional in what she does, but she’s a woman. You don’t want her suffering the same fate as Hilary Clinton. It’s nothing personal. It is just the way it is. The November 5 election will be a test of wills between Joe Biden, the man under a political umbrella whose aim is to protect America and a man who kicks his own umbrella to the curb, because he thinks he’s Superman, a fictitious American hero.
