Project 2025? It Doesn't Concern Me
The blog title is what Donald Trump wants. Where can I hide my insidious intention for America? In a book. Most Americans don't read, he tells himself. I first learned about Project 2025 from the following congresswomen.
- Ayanna Pressley: Massachusetts 7th Congressional District
- Jasmine Crockett: Texas 30th Congressional District
They were in committees, asking authors of this conservative blueprint questions. I’m afraid to admit, I didn’t understand their line of questioning because I was clueless about Project 2025. Not anymore, because more Americans are looking at it with a fine tooth comb. Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party nominee for president and Tim Walz her running mate talk about it all the time, and its blood-curdling consequences should Donald Trump, the Project 2025 editor-in-chief, win the November election.
Raising consciousness about Project 2025 must continue despite general distrust of government initiatives. “No, I haven’t read it. I’m not into politics. I just do my job at the post office, then go home to my kids.” That is what Donald Trump is hoping for.
