Project 2025 Engraves The Banana Republic

This rubble used to be a building. Donald Trump will reduce his critics to just that, rubble if he is re-elected. Fortunately, common sense will prevail.

Background. A dictator in a banana republic does as he pleases because he has the army and civil servants behind him. Most of them have no option. The dictator might kill them or harm their families. They might lose their jobs. A dictator can be overthrown. He can die and the country can be normal again. Project 2025 is more lethal because of the written word. It is difficult to erase what is codified, in black and white so to speak. That is why Donald Trump elevated his banana republic wish, into something concrete, tangible, something that will outlast him.

What is a banana republic?

1. A country where one strong man rules with fear.

2. A country where he usurped power, saying he’s the ruler, when he’s not.

3. A country where the strong man ‘fixes’ election results to win.

4. A country where there is one constitution: his own.

5. A country where the said strong man does not recognize a sitting legitimately elected president.

6. A country where the judge and jury system is non-existent.

7. A country where judges and witnesses are attacked at home by strong man loyalty thugs.

8. A country where congressmen resign, to avoid being part of the terror, the lie, the shame.

9. A country where the ruling party doesn’t pass any laws, just continues the vendetta that the strong man was cheated.

10. A country where citizens are so ashamed they say: No. Actually, I’m Canadian.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? No Air Miles

I don’t have Air Miles.   I’m considering putting that on a T-Shirt because I cannot go to the drugstore (chemist) or coffee shop without the cashier asking me if I have air miles. We waited for about two minutes the other day, while this guy looked for his Air Miles card in his overweight wallet.   For what?   For a few points. I don’t have air miles because Mathematics is a foreign language.   I was never good in numbers. That is why I squashed the idea of being an investment banker very early in life.   I understand you can invest in cornfields before the soil is turned up or pork bellies even before a baby pig is born. That is how I view air miles, investing in tomorrow or the unknown.   I’m the dumb one.   Some people understand this air miles’ thing so well, I overheard one customer saying: I can even convert my points into cash.
