Michael Irvin Clear Coach Prime Next
What is success in sports? It is sacrifices players make to be in the army. NFL, NBA and MLB are army barracks but commitment pays off for some. They get the rings, then they are told to behave themselves and be as quiet as a mouse.
Michael Irvin does not because he knows football in and out, has eyes and a brain. Colorado Buffaloes football Head Coach, Deion Sanders is next to get the Marriott/NFL formula. That is why he must be protected at all costs.
1. Deion Sanders must be ‘hug free’. No hugs from female reporters, business partners and other professionals. He must walk with hands in his pockets, in case someone dives at him.
2. He needs extra bodyguards to shield him from female fans, players’ mothers and sisters and all other unidentified women, who might be snakes in the Marriott Hotel grass.
3. He must not open hotel doors to room service or shake hands with any hotel staff.
4. If they happen to come close to him, he must extend his hands and do the fist bump. That was the hand shake, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
5. He must not have business meetings with women in hotel rooms. Use the coffee shop or the garden.
6. He is old school so he called a reporter sweetheart at a post game media briefing. Don't do it. Ditch old school, if it’s going to land you in the ditch.
Deion Sanders is not the problem, stakeholders know what it is so they must fix it. They should not pass the buck and accuse Coach Prime. In the meantime, he must be protected from all ‘adoring’ fans. He is not low on that. He gets gigabytes of adoration from his ‘ride or die’ who shall remain anonymous.
