Donald Trump is A Chef

This is NOT Trump Tower, just an example of tall buildings, high finance and cooking books like Trump.

Yesterday 26 September, a New York judge found Donald Trump, the businessman-turned- U.S. President liable for fraud. Let’s use simple English so that we are all on the same page. It means the judge ruled Trump and his sons, cooked the books in their New York businesses.

Judge Arthur Engoron explained how the ‘cooking’ was done.

“In defendants’ world: rent regulated apartments are worth the same as unregulated apartments; restricted land is worth the same as unrestricted land; restrictions can evaporate into thin air; a disclaimer by one party casting responsibility on another party exonerates the other party’s lies ….”

Clearly, it is a real estate case, but I’m interested in how college and university professors will handle this particular quote, because it is relevant to what various departments teach.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is.
