Army Does Not Want To Change

Everything in life changes, except the army. Unemployment is the result of change. Workers are laid off because we don’t need what they make anymore. Worse still, jobs moved to China where labour is cheap, but the same China is regarded as the enemy and is accused of the ridiculous speculation that it interfered in Canadian elections.

Change results in job losses. We never thought it would happen in the tech industry but it did. The closing of the Silicon Valley Bank is just the tip of the iceberg. Workers were laid off last year and it still continues, but army generals do not join unemployment lines. There’s no politician that campaigns on reducing the army, since we are all internet friends and families now.

What do economists say? Supply and demand. Book publishers went out of business because we don’t read anymore. Remaining ones joined forces. Toy stores closed down because the playground changed. It’s in kids’ phones now. Your city has all those empty office blocks, because where and how we work, changed.

Not the army. It is immune to all that. There is no demand for war, especially foreign wars. Peace is the absence of war.  No problem. America, the warmonger creates a demand, and trusted vassal states follow suit. The American president is not just ‘commander-in-chief’ but the war chief of the whole world as well.

The U.S. is a capitalist country. Therefore, supply and demand rules should apply to the army, but it doesn’t. Why? Because the multi-billion armaments industry demands it. If America scraps its policy of killing people in foreign countries, the industry will be out of business.
