Rudy Giuliani I was Wrong

I was wrong. Rudy Giuliani will not throw Donald Trump under the bus. 

This is what I wrote in the 23 October 2023 blog.

It will break Trump’s heart when Rudy Giuliani calls District Attorney Fani Willis in Georgia and says ‘Let’s cut a deal.’ However, Trump’s broken heart won’t stop him from calling his bosom friend unimaginable names, and even denying he knows him, the way he denies Sidney Powell. Somebody denied Jesus three times, according to what we were taught in RELIGIOUS STUDIES.

Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump are joined at the hip in this RICO Act case. How? Both have 13 counts which are almost identical. An interesting one is the conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree. Giuliani might flip because of what he knows now, and didn’t know then. First of all, he was on board with the stolen election lie because he thought Fani Willis was bluffing for the following reasons.

1. A small town District Attorney will never indict a former U.S. President.

2. The Rico Act is for thugs, murderers and local drug dealers, not former White House occupants.

3. Georgia is still a GOP ranch because Republicans control both the House and Senate. Therefore, they’ll thwart Fani Willis’ attempt, while it’s still in the bud.

Now that it is reality and Rudy Giuliani has a mug shot to prove it, he must be thinking back on why he illegally supported Donald Trump, his client and friend. Trump reassured him the stolen election lie was foolproof because Mark Meadows, Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell were on board. Unfortunately for Guiliani and Trump, this trio is over board now, as in over there with Fani Willis Fulton County DA, because they took the guilty plea.

I’m not a fly on the wall but Guiliani will flip because what he was promised is no longer possible. Promises were made definitely and we know because or our own failed friendships. No friendship is free. It has a price tag. Guiliani has sleepless nights because he doesn’t know who will jump ship next. Trump also has insomnia, despite his bravado. The only comforting thought is that Rudy Giuliani will never flip and betray him. Betray is just a word. If Trump can throw Sidney Powell under the bus,  Rudy Guiliani can also do it to him and plead guilty to all 13 counts.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is.
