Joe Biden Silently Delivers

I hope House Republicans are not playing tag with the intention to impeach Joe Biden, the sitting U.S. President, with the hope that it will result in an ocean of votes in 2024. You impeached our president, we will impeach yours. That might not work because Joe Biden has a halo around him, that is only detected by voters. His voters don’t waste time on the internet, celebrating his virtue. They sit and wait. How they wait. They are now waiting for 2024. 

Republicans are hoping voters will find something similar in both families. Donald Trump was impeached because he is a bad guy. His family is currently in a New York court because the Trump organization was found liable for fraud. How about the Biden family? They are just as bad. We, Republicans intend to impeach the President and his son Hunter Biden is also in and out of court, for this crime or the other.

No problem. If Republicans feel voters will see that Joe Biden is not as pristine as snow, and vote for Trump, that’s fine, but remember, both will be starting on a clean slate. Biden has the advantage of having this halo around him. He’s the guy some Americans sleep well at night knowing that he’s the President. He’s a likeable fellow. How? We shall never know, but voters that like him know.

What halo? It’s not scientific. How can you just like someone so much, you want him to be President? It’s not scientific, but it’s the human element, something politics destroyed a long time ago. Likeness is human. We like some people, we don’t like others. Period. I had a boss who didn’t know anything about the job. I did. One day she said, “I can’t stand her anymore.” I was out of the door after a bogus disciplinary hearing.

Because of Biden’s halo, Republicans might be killing themselves with their own spear, by impeaching him. Big wigs in the party will vote for Donald Trump and present him as the 2024 presidential nominee. Did they ask the mechanic, bus driver, farmer, nurse or factory worker they will vote for such an ‘illustrious’ human being? The answer is 2024.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? No Air Miles

I don’t have Air Miles.   I’m considering putting that on a T-Shirt because I cannot go to the drugstore (chemist) or coffee shop without the cashier asking me if I have air miles. We waited for about two minutes the other day, while this guy looked for his Air Miles card in his overweight wallet.   For what?   For a few points. I don’t have air miles because Mathematics is a foreign language.   I was never good in numbers. That is why I squashed the idea of being an investment banker very early in life.   I understand you can invest in cornfields before the soil is turned up or pork bellies even before a baby pig is born. That is how I view air miles, investing in tomorrow or the unknown.   I’m the dumb one.   Some people understand this air miles’ thing so well, I overheard one customer saying: I can even convert my points into cash.
