The Forks No Dog Policy Violated

We leave home and visit eating areas because we don’t feel like cooking or we don’t know how. That’s right. We also leave behind certain things that give us joy, be it pets, smoking or, singing at the top of our voices. We frequent public spaces on the understanding, they have certain rules and policies to ensure that everyone has a good time.

The Forks has a no dog policy which is violated from time to time. Owners bring dogs and hide them under tables. Others don’t bother hiding them because they enjoy the attention, people petting them and sharing dog anecdotes.

Dog owners that disregard the rules do it intentionally. They are imposing their will on the majority. They are challenging The Forks’ rule, placing their interests above patrons that have dogs, but left them at home because they were going to someone else’s domain.

They also leave them at home because some people are allergic to dogs. Others are scared of them, others don’t like them. Dog owners also have no regard for workers because they clean whatever mess dogs leave, while hiding under tables.

They can leave them in the car, go inside have a cinnamon bun and coffee. They certainly cannot. It’s the height of pet cruelty. Can you imagine being left in the car, windows closed?

The Forks is a great getaway because everybody obeys the rules, like pandemic rules and the no dog policy, unless it’s a service dog.
