Taking a Cruise? Remember Insurance
A tiger can never change its spots. Example? Insurance. Money funneled out from your bank account then an accident happens. Insurance companies pick your nose and armpits, looking for reasons why they should not pay out. Have they changed their ways? I don’t know, so tell me.
There are some things money can’t buy. False. Money can buy anything. According to history, there was a ship called the Titanic. It sank. In 2023 five billionaires were curious about the where and how, so on 18 June, they bought seats in the Oceans Gate submersible. They died at sea.
Billionaires are profit driven. They will do anything to cut costs so that they can bag more profits. Laying off workers and removing basic benefits like health insurance, is standard practice. All governments support it. What do they do with all that money? They prove that it can buy anything. The sea fascinates billionaires and that is what ship builders are banking on as they prepare to launch the Icon of the Seas in January 2024. It is advertised as the biggest ship ever built, and will have 7,000 plus passengers.
Some of those passengers will be black entertainers that are not billionaires as such, but are big spenders. It won’t be a surprise if the passenger list includes most musicians that attended the Louis Vuitton fashion show on 20 June 2023, organized by Pharrell Williams, Men’s Creative Director.
Billionaires are fascinated by the sea. Some black people are not, because colonizers came from the sea. All major cities in the British Empire used to be ports. It’s even deeper with African Americans. They arrived in the New World in chains, sleeping in the bowels of slave ships. That is why some black people have no interest in the Titanic submersible or the biggest ship to be launched in 2024.
Jay-Z, rapper, music producer and now billionaire released the album Magna Carta in 2013. Oceans one of the songs talks about spilling champagne in the sea. Is that libation, for slaves that threw themselves overboard, rather than be taken to the New World as slaves? He has money so he might also be invited to the Icon of the Seas voyage.
In case of emergency, all back doors lead into the sea, a secret place. The five men in that Titanic submersible learned the hard way. Will all those wealthy black entertainers go, if invited?
