Colorado Buffaloes The Liability
Cormani McClain and Omarion Miller deserve all the props they are getting for their stellar performance at the 30 September football game, between CU Buffaloes their team, and visiting USC Trojans. The level of play was reminiscent of the 2 September TCU vs Buffs’ game, which toppled television commentators from their chairs.
Coach Prime keeps receipts. We also keep his receipts and we are concerned about how Travis Hunter attempted to steal Cormani McClain and Omarion Miller’s glory. We are under the impression that he is a loose canon, and his coach allows it. As Shannon Sharpe put it: it’s either you coach it, or condone it, if I remember correctly.
Deion Sanders said Travis Hunter - who is supposed to be recuperating from the hit he got from Colorado State - was coaching Cormani McClain during practice and on the sidelines. Coach Prime said Travis Hunter did it on his own volition. From where we are sitting, Travis Hunter became a ‘coach’ during to USC game to steal McClain’s and Miller’s glory, because he is a peacock and not a team player. He has an ‘all eyes on me’ mentality. He even had a video crew to record his ‘coaching.’
Coach Prime’s Receipts
1. He is big on discipline. He tells you he’s old school every chance he gets. He doesn’t tolerate nonsense even from his sons Shilo and Shedeur. He likes giving the example of one of them arriving late at a meeting. Deion Sanders told him to get out, but not Travis Hunter. He wanted to play in the USC game and told his Coach: ‘And I won’t take no for an answer.’ What player says that to a coach?
2. Cormani McClain and Omarion Miller are in Boulder because they are exceptional in their game. That’s why Coach Prime recruited them. How do they feel when he implies they played well because Travis Hunter was ‘coaching’ in practice and the sidelines? We keep his receipts where he says he treats everybody equally. Why must top recruits be validated by Travis Hunter?
3. We keep receipts about Coach Prime and the coaching staff. He always praises them. How do they feel about an injured player upstaging them in the sidelines?
4. Team spirit. Travis Hunter is a peacock and that is demoralizing for the locker room. Players are expected to say yes sir, no sir. Travis Hunter does whatever he wants.
5. Coach Prime indulges Travis Hunter, that’s why he’s an ex-officio coach. Recruits came to Boulder Colorado for Coach Prime, not another player. Travis Hunter is not the only ‘dawg,’ every player Coach Prime recruited is.
We keep receipts, so hopefully, he must not encourage Travis Hunter to demoralize other players. He must stay in his room and concentrate on getting better, and not invade the pitch to steal Cormani McClain and Omarion Miller’s glory. We are here for Coach Prime, not one player with peacock tendencies.
