Leave The Prime Minister Alone

Pierre Trudeau was a prime minister of Canada. Justin Trudeau his son, is the current one.

Political parties that don’t see eye to eye with the Prime Minister in Ottawa are very annoying. Their solution for solving problems that affect us, the voters is to get rid of Justin Trudeau. It’s an old playbook that doesn’t work because Canadians want stability, a government that works and by government I mean three main political parties that disagree but compromise, for Canadians.

In fact, it is understandable if ‘fire’ Trudeau comes from the Conservative Party because it wants to be the next government. That is Canada’s opposition party. Now it’s internal. Some Liberals who belong to the same party as Prime Minister Trudeau want him gone. And replace him with what exactly? Whoever comes in will use the same parliamentary rules and regulations that made Trudeau inadequate.

As for Canadians, we have a wider view of ‘the government.’ Flaws or not, Justin Trudeau is the Prime Minister. Yes, we vote Bloc Quebecois if we live in Quebec Province. We also vote for the Conservative Party and the NDP, but when we talk about ‘the government’ we mean men and women in Ottawa, working as a unit to provide for us. That is democracy. It is not by ripping off the carpet and changing drapes every time the Prime Minister of a country does something opposition parties don’t like.

The next Canadian general election is 12 months away. That gives disgruntled Liberal Party M.P.’s enough time to strategize about how to get rid of their leader Justin Trudeau. For now, he is head of the class and opposition parties should not use us as pawns, to further their ambition. We have things better things to do, trying to make ends meet. The Conservative Party, NDP and Bloc Quebecois have a lot of time on their hands. That is why every disagreement ends with ‘fire’ Trudeau.

We, the voters will fire him because personally, I don’t understand how he wants to run again in 2025. What is this? Is Canada a Trudeau dynasty? Canada is not a monarchy therefore, he should forget about being prime minister again. But for now, he is, and his disgruntled Liberal M.P.’s should concentrate on making their constituents happy, so that they get re-elected in 2025.
