Early Voting Lunch

Early voting dessert: papaya (paw paw) and plain yoghurt. You want it with ice cream? Go on, live dangerously for one day. You deserve it. You voted.

While I was snoring, people in Georgia were already standing in line, waiting for voting stations to open for early voting.

How about a lunch meet-up with friends afterwards, to celebrate good citizenship? In fact, friends, lovers or co-workers could make it mandatory: I VOTED LUNCH.  Delegate someone to book a table in a restaurant. Problem is, restaurants want the time and you don't know when you'll be able to vote because of long lines, in states like the infamous Georgia.

Make a plan, like these kids. They have 'after parties' for everything under the sun. Their parents have I VOTED LUNCH. If grandparents are in remote areas, arrange transport and designated drivers for them. You know what? Leave the car at home and take a cab, just in case the champagne over flows.
