Husbands Abandon Wives With Many Kids

It is not negotiable.
American women have the right to make decisions about their bodies, like men who decide to have a vasectomy. They are also left with kids after the divorce and fewer career options. That's why they are the only people to decide when to get pregnant, not a hypocritical society that regards kids as a nuisance. It's only when kids turn 16, that men proudly say: "He's my son."

Movie: Two Sides To Every Story

Country: Nigeria

Director: Onyeka Ezejiofor

Cast: Keira Hewatch, Kendra Okorie, Daniel Loyd

This movie is about society’s pick-and-choose about the woman’s body. It is about refusing to admit that when things go wrong, women are left holding the baby, literally. Men easily resume their ‘free as a bird’ existence while women are left with the blame, constant blame.

Two Sides To Every Story is a painful story actress Keira Hewatch executed magnificently. It made me stupid. Why? I felt like crying. Hello! It’s a movie. Fine. Fine. It is about the fact that some husbands run away from home when ‘she has too many children.’ It is about the fact that men will leave home and live a ‘peaceful’ life with a woman with no kids. It is about how women are always blamed when it comes to children. She has no kids, she is to blame. What does JD Vance, Donald Trump’s running mate call them? Cat ladies.

Example. Boy and girl grow up in the South of the U.S.A. She gets pregnant in high school, the boy becomes a good football player, gets drafted, forgets her with his two kids and marries a woman who 'looks good' on TV. She is left with a stigma. She becomes a ‘baby mama’. She is to blame. Male podcast hosts love waxing the vase of the father figure. She can’t teach him to be a man. But, most figures leave because children are hard work, and 'cramp your style.'

Another example. She enters the bus with four boisterous kids and one in the stroller. Bus passengers send her a visual judgement: “How can you have so many kids? Worse still, they whisper: “They are like that, they have too many kids.” Who are they?

Two Sides To Every Story is a painful movie about a man who left his wife and three daughters for the ‘soft life.’ What is the soft life?
