Immunity and Trump's RICO Case Georgia

Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney.

I hope Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney took some time off, from studying Special Counsel Jack Smith’s new evidence against Donald Trump, and went to vote.

As you know, on 14 August 2023, she indicted Donald John Trump and 18 co-defendants for the RICO  conspiracy to change the results of the 2020 presidential election, in the State of Georgia.

Fani Willis has professional interest in Jack Smith, who is working for the federal government, prosecuting Donald Trump for his 6 January 2021 crimes. Donald Trump claimed immunity. The Supreme Court said aye, he is, for core functions of a U.S. President. The Court also sent the case back to Judge Tanya Chutkan to determine what was ‘core’ function and what Donald Trump did as a private person, on that fateful day. That is what Special Counsel Jack Smith is busy with right now, separating stones from the beans, so that he can cook the beans.

This is where Fani Willis comes in. Is she pondering about Trump’s immunity claim? Will he use it in her case: The State of Georgia v Donald John Trump and remaining co-defendants? I was just wondering.
