Why?: To hear government use of Emergencies Act in February 2022, to remove truckers' blockade of Ottawa and U.S.-Canadian borders.


The Public Order Emergency Commission is busy listening to who was responsible for organizing the blockade, police reaction, hardship to Ottawa, Canada’s capital etc. Truckers said they did not want to be vaccinated against COVID-19. It is highly unlikely that leaders will give the Commission the real reason for the civil disobedience.

Real Reason for the Blockade

Various reports indicated that about 80% of licensed Canadian truckers are fully vaccinated. Only 20% descended upon Ottawa and paralyzed the city, leading to the government’s use of the Emergencies Act, on 14-23 February, 2022.

There is division in the trucking industry. The 20%  used vaccination requirements as a scapegoat to hide the real reason for the blockade: internal rot. The blockades were not against the government, but against the 80 % vaccinated truckers.

The trucking industry is regulated by a variety of Canadian and American laws. Some truckers don’t want them. They want to revert to the old wild west strategies where they do as they please.

The trucking industry also has newcomers and most of them are fully-vaccinated so that they can deliver their loads in Canada or America on time. Block them. That was the reason for dictator convoys, wrongly called ‘freedom convoys.’

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is.
