Black Panther Moving Forward

Tenoch Huerta Mejia plays Namor, in Black Panther Wakanda Forever.

All questions about the role Chadwick Boseman played in the original Black Panther have been answered. Entertainment writers and social media are asking the same questions from different microphones, and Black Panther stars don’t have any new answers, anymore.

The only way Chadwick Boseman can rest in peace is for us, not to ask them. He knows we miss him but he would like us to move forward and support director Ryan Coogler and Black Panther Wakanda Forever, by seeing the movie.

It was a solid script from day one. The super hero angle might be paramount to Marvel because it’s their trade mark, but it’s a story to me. Movies are about story-telling, that’s why the script is the road map.

That map did not change because Chadwick Boseman is now resting with his ancestors. The question we should be asking is how Ryan Coogler adjusted the script to merge old and new characters like Tenoch Huerta, the Mexican actor who plays the complicated Namor.

Questions should be about Letitia Wright and how her character will evolve in Wakanda Forever. It’s only natural because she worked closely with her brother in the original Black Panther, providing him with superpowers. Questions should be about the character Mbaku, that looks like a bad guy, but is a fuzzy teddy bear on the inside.

Questions should be about how the movie erupted like a volcano all over the world, making millions for Marvel. It’s because of the script, which makes it a family movie.

I think all ages will enjoy Wakanda Forever because it is not a new script. It’s the original script, about a country called Wakanda and the wonderful cast that defends it from internal and external enemies.

The only problem is that it forces me to go to the cinema to watch a sequel. I don’t do sequels. Very disappointing, that’s why they don’t do well at the box office.
