Apple Pie or Apple Toast


Apples from the local farmers’ market are a little bit sour. I got tired of grimacing every time I take a bite, so I found a solution. Have them for breakfast.

Recipe

1. Wash one apple (organic apples tend to be smaller).

2. Cut it in half and remove seeds and that short attachment to the tree.

3. Slice both halves.

4. Drop a tear drop (very very small) of low fat margarine in a pan.

5. Add apple slices and cook in medium heat for two minutes.

6. Lightly toast whole wheat bread.

7. Brush with margarine.

8. Eat with your breakfast apples.

You’ll use more apples next time, because you’ll be cooking for more, unbelievers who thought apples are only for apple pie.
