Trump The Apprentice

Liz Cheney has options. Donald Trump doesn’t. That’s why he intends running for president in 2024, further trampling his party’s credibility in the process.

Liz Cheney is going back to school. “I look forward to working with students and colleagues at the Center to advance the important work they and others at the University of Virginia are doing to improve the health of democracy here and around the world.”

Trump also has options, and we see former presidents farming them. He chooses not to and ordinary people resent that because they do not have options in life and will never have them. That’s why they stay in jobs where they have nothing to do, the last strategy after managers’ unfounded disciplinary hearings and court cases.

Parents urge kids to stay in school so to maximize their options. Some kids are not buying that because the internet has a myriad of bright opportunities like fish on the ocean floor. Other kids go through life seeing parents’ faces lined with worry despite college certificates on the wall.

Trump is nobody’s role model for many reasons. One of them is wasting options other people pray for because he still hungers for his television show: The Apprentice. Maybe he’s working on another episode: The White House Apprentice.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? Einstein Passengers

Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein. He talks non-stop.   It is all about himself, how right he is, how good he is, how stupid his boss is. Einstein is also a driving instructor.   “Careful.   Look at that guy.   Is he crazy or something? ” says Einstein.
