Publisher Freezes Trump Memoir

Trump’s book publisher is frustrated. Oh! He’s writing a book and already has a publisher? Yes. It even has a title Trump Card. It’s a given. Publishers give former U.S. Presidents book deals in their first term in office, before they unpack their boxes for White House shelves and closets. That’s why I assume Trump has a book publisher lying in wait somewhere complete with a ghost writer, who has already received her advance.

But their patience is wearing thin because Trump, the object of their desire keeps moving the puck. He wanted them to wait for 6 January 2021 so it could be included in the book. Little did the publisher know that it was something that smacks of treason. The publisher put his foot down and gave Trump an ultimatum. Forget the ‘stolen election’ chapter, otherwise there’s no deal. Trump sulked and said, ‘It’s like that?’

The publisher also rejected a chapter on documents Trump flew to Mar-a-Lago. He told the publisher that they have juicy information about how Barack Obama was a clone. He was U.S. President for two terms, when in actual fact, Biden was running the show to prepare himself for the 2020 election. Outlandish! Said the publisher.

Then Trump convinced the publisher that a chapter on the 2024 election would break all best seller records. Why? Because I’m running again. The publisher agreed that it will be a nice bait for readers. Then March 30 hit. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Donald Trump.

Now, the publisher is not returning Trump’s call, and the ghost writer, has become a ghost, literally. He’s nowhere to be found.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Comfort food is good for the soul, which usually bleeds in winter from icy roads, bad drivers that want to annihilate pedestrians, frozen fingers and toes that take a sabbatical.   What happened to my toes?   I thought I was wearing special socks for boots? No Air Miles

I don’t have Air Miles.   I’m considering putting that on a T-Shirt because I cannot go to the drugstore (chemist) or coffee shop without the cashier asking me if I have air miles. We waited for about two minutes the other day, while this guy looked for his Air Miles card in his overweight wallet.   For what?   For a few points. I don’t have air miles because Mathematics is a foreign language.   I was never good in numbers. That is why I squashed the idea of being an investment banker very early in life.   I understand you can invest in cornfields before the soil is turned up or pork bellies even before a baby pig is born. That is how I view air miles, investing in tomorrow or the unknown.   I’m the dumb one.   Some people understand this air miles’ thing so well, I overheard one customer saying: I can even convert my points into cash.
