Kyrsten Sinema vs Tik Tok

Kyrsten Sinema, why should youth believe in democracy?

What is America all about? Freedom of choice. Freedom of association. That’s why Kyrsten Sinema, the Arizona senator who got her seat in the U.S. Senate because she was wearing a Democratic coat, is now a turn-coat.

She resigned from that party and declared herself an independent senator. The laws of Washington and the land allow her to do that switch, from being elected by the people of Arizona to represent them in the U.S. Senate to ditching them and taking a unilateral decision that she no longer has allegiance to them.

It is all legal. It is all democracy. Losers are people of Arizona who are betrayed by Sinema’s decision but they are inconsequential. The individual is supreme. It over-rides the will of the people. What is the difference between Sinema and dictators? They do what they like and even use guns to suppress the people’s will.

History and This Tradition

Kyrsten Sinema is not the problem. Tradition is. It’s the same thing in Canada. The green party sends you to corridors of power. Self-interest kicks in and you defect to the blue party. No repercussions.

It is not democracy. It’s selfish dictatorship. We are outsiders. It’s none of our business what Kyrsten Sinema does with her constitutional right to betray voters.

However, it is our right because the U.S. air lifts soldiers to the former British Empire to impose democracy. What democracy? Democracy to leave voters in the ditch, like what Sinema did?

The consolation is that the youth has alternatives that will destroy such individual dictator tradition and political parties will never know what hit them because they don’t watch Tik Tok.
