Climate Change and Toilet Paper

Consumers are sometimes accused unfairly for the deteriorating climate change but we are the tail, not the head.  Yes we buy bottled water, but it was a businessman that made the bottle, put in tap water and said it came from ‘Swiss Alps.’ Fine, we take the blame for believing him.

It is a businessman that spends millions of dollars advertising the Swiss lie and sells it in 24-packs in his grocery chain. It was a businessman that manufactured disposable diapers that replaced cloth diapers. It was a relief for new mothers because women stand from dusk till dawn, but diaper disposal is an extra burden to the environment.

A most recent example is the change in toilet paper. They are now making bigger rolls that do not fit in the toilet roll holder in the bathroom. I noticed it some months ago but ignored it. Now, it is taking up half the toilet roll shelf at the drugstore.

It is a businessman that has decided how I dispose my stuff in the bathroom. If a toilet roll cannot fit in the holder, we will place it outside which would be great fun for toddlers. They pull anything they can get their hands on.

Believe it or not, there are many things related to the manufacture of toilet paper, before it arrives in the bathroom. The businessman will change the machinery and chemicals and throw out the previous ones. Where? On mother earth of course,

I’m just a consumer, the tail end of climate change. Talk to the head, the businessman.
