Ja Morant Two Scoops of Apology

THIS IS AN OLD POST ABOUT JA'S FIRST APOLOGY

We The North, are interested in Grizzlies, Ja Morant’s present NBA  home because the team used to call Canada home. It was formed in 1995 as Vancouver Grizzlies then moved to Memphis in 2001.

Ja Morant’s suspension is over but he will never be same again because of that painful lesson: you are on your own. He was not alone prior and inside Shotgun Willies, a strip club where he was recorded flashing a gun. He was with team mates he considers friends, but the buck stops with him. He was the one wearing the jewellery, flashing the gun and generally having a good time.

Ja Morant has admitted his mistake. What he will not admit is that he learned the hard way that you are on your own. His friends cheered for him when he was doing his thing at the strip club. He was feeling a lot of love. He got that a lot before the incident. Why not? He’s literally on top of his game, so love is falling like snow from team mates, rival teams and women who are NBA groupies.

Ja Morant is not alone. We also learned the hard way that you are on your own, when things go wrong and it hurts. But we were lucky. We are not sunflowers which attract bees (cameras). We were taught that lesson in private. Most of all we don’t have a dime but we are free. We are not owned by a corporation, like NBA players.
