Urgent Issues for 2024 Election

The idea that kids are trans gender means the age of consent is redundant. That gives perpetrators to sexually abuse them as adults.

Political parties want as many votes as possible. That’s why campaign strategies are based on traditional block votes, augmented by anything else they catch in the wind.

The wind cannot be compressed into these boxes but it can be lethal, leading to major upsets. Part of that wind are parents who feel helpless because bringing up children is no longer their sole responsibility. That process is a rehearsal for life beyond 18 years old.

Parents in the wind are scared because childhood has been sexualized. What started in private, between consenting adults is being pushed down their throats. Kids can come home and tell them they’ve taken a decision about their existence, which is normally made at 18, or 16 in other countries.

Parents in the wind do not understand how outside forces have more rights than them. They feel the school system is gradually letting them down. They regard it as a sanctuary where they drop off their kids and pick them up later, a sanctuary that looks at life through their eyes.

That is no guarantee. An eight year-old stunned his parents when he told them his teacher had helped him realize who he really is. They don’t understand how teachers can usurp their role.

If parents cannot trust the school system, how can they trust politicians, who push the agenda of the most vocal groups? Despite that, they will vote to demonstrate their frustration at not being able to be parents, because childhood is being sexualized.
