Zulu Lesson Very Lazy

How about some Zulu lessons today?
A lazy person is called i-vi-la in Zulu. Many people a-ma-vi-la.

A-ma-vi-la are always angry at the world because they don’t understand why they are expected to do anything. Lazy people don’t understand why they should clean up after themselves. They don’t even want to cook because slicing tomatoes or boiling rice hurts.

They let dirty dishes pile up in the sink for days. When they don’t have clean plates and cups to use anymore, they buy paper ones. They are so lazy their hands hurt when they put cheese between slices of bread. They have to, or die of hunger or laziness.

A-ma-vi-la don’t change clothes because it means washing them. Lazy people undress and leave them on the floor because hanging them will hurt the shoulder blades.

A-ma-vila spend an hour putting on make-up but don’t close cream jars, throw used cotton wool balls in the thrash can and generally clean the bedroom before they go out to be photographed.

A-ma-v-ila don’t like being with other people because it is hard work, talking, listening and smiling, especially smiling, do I have to? Thank god for cellphones. They don’t have to do absolutely nada, just scroll and massage and order pizza online. So what if they become overweight from laziness?

The verb is vi-la-pha. You say the first part like Victor, the second like luck, and the third like pass. I-vi-la. You say the first part like e-mail, the second like Victor and the last part like lark.
