Canada Truckers A House Divided

The trucking industry has internal problems. Toppling Prime Minister Justin Trudeau 
because of COVID-19 vaccination was just an excuse.

Below is old post 14 February 2022, when truckers blockaded Ottawa.

Various reports indicate that about 80% of licensed Canadian truckers are fully vaccinated. Only 20% are holding the country hostage with entry port blockades and paralyzing Ottawa, the capital city.

There is division in the trucking industry. Minority truckers are using vaccine mandates as a scapegoat to hide the real reason for the blockade: internal rot.

Just to recap. We are in a pandemic. All countries have strategies of trying to contain COVID-19. That is why I’m sent to quarantine when I land in a foreign country.

Masks and the requirement to be fully vaccinated before having a meal in a restaurant, sitting in a plane or crossing the Canada-U.S. border in a big rig is a health issue. Why? Because there are other people in the restaurant or plane.

It is interesting that minority truckers holding Canada hostage are silent about the health issue, why we are here wearing masks and having fully vaccinated certificates in our phones.

It’s because the industry has internal problems. The blockades are not against the government, but against the 80 % vaccinated truckers.

The trucking industry is regulated by a variety of Canadian and American laws. Some truckers don’t agree with such laws. They want to revert to the wild west, where they do as they please.

The trucking industry also has newcomers and most of them are fully vaccinated so that they can deliver their loads in Canada or America on time. Block them. That is the reason for dictator convoys, wrongly called ‘freedom convoys.’

The trucking industry has internal problems. Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister is not the problem. We are not the problem, so he must ensure that truckers do not trample on our human rights, because their rigs cannot be towed. Size must not be used for anarchy and Nazism.

Comfort Food As Regret Food

Chicken curry. Being a passenger is very stressful.   You must listen to the owner of the car, nod and grumble yes to everything he says because you don’t want to piss him off. Two things can happen if you disagree with the driver: he can lose concentration and you all end up in a mash-up accident or stop the car and ask you to get out.   That is the driver’s prerogative.   You must listen to me if you are a passenger in my car.   Let’s flip the script for a minute and sympathise with the driver if she has a passenger who is more intelligent than Albert Einstein.
