Girls Want 'The Bag' Dangerous Work

Girls risk their lives with strange men for money to buy handbags, as big as a poker card,
but so expensive, they could be a down payment of an apartment or house.

It’s a free world, said somebody somewhere. Therefore, we should understand that being online is not compulsory, it’s not mandatory, it’s not illegal. It’s a personal choice and we should respect that. This animal called the internet has given strangers dictatorial powers to demand that we send videos and photos of our kids, homes, cars, weddings and birthdays over to the internet, to be decimated beyond recognition.

“You are not on social media?”

It is not a question. It’s an accusation that you offend millions of strangers out there by keeping your life personal. Yes, the internet is here, but when did the personal become the annual Pumpkin Parade down Main Street? It’s even more disappointing when it comes from family members and friends. They unilaterally down grade you, for not joining the parade. “But I don’t know all these people online.”

They have a litany of reasons why I should share the personal with strangers, that might include that woman who hated me at first HELLO, on my first day at the office. I know my value, because of self-evaluation. Pardon me if that is egotistical. I check my life constantly for weeds and yank them out. I cannot relinquish that to strangers. They might mistake flowers, for weeds. My life is personal, period.

What is also strange is that online critics keep their personal, personal. There are no photos. No yesterday nor today. No life history, but we give them the welcome mat. We let vile comments from strangers give us sleepless nights, and make us snap at people we live and work with. What happened to common sense? It’s a personal decision to keep your life personal.

“Oh! You had twins. Why don’t you post them online?”

“Why?”
