Coach Prime Exhibition Game in Canada

When Major League Baseball played in London England for the first time in 2019,
Yankees brought a team jersey for Archie, Prince Harry and Meghan's son.

Deion Sanders ‘Coach Prime’ needs to bring the Colorado Buffaloes over to Canada for an exhibition game with one of the Canadian college teams. Which one though? I’m clueless, but that could be ironed out later.

Hey! If that experiment goes well, Colorado could make it an annual trip. That will be pretty sick, to quote @mkbhd, the online tech falcon. That exhibition game will be sold out, for sure. Canada surprised the Women’s NBA when Chicago Sky and Minnesota Lynx played a game in Toronto in May 2023. Sold out to the last rafter. Players were surprised at the warm reception. It’s because of the Toronto Raptors, the only Canadian team in the NBA. We love it (although 90% of the players are American). So what? It’s good neighborliness. Ha! Ha!

If Coach Prime and Colorado University agree to start the cross-border tradition, the CU Buffaloes must upgrade their passports, make sure they have not expired. Does Coach Prime even have one?  He seems to be content with zigzagging in his United States of America. Toronto Raptors always have passports in their man bags, because they play over there in the U.S. and home games at the Scotiabank Arena, in Toronto.

Logistics. How about logistics? Canada has 10 provinces, and the Canadian Football League CFL) is in nine cities. How will this whole thing pan out? Who will come to Canada? Obviously, Coach Prime cannot bring all his players.

It’s just a thought. Two countries that are neighbors, but different in sports choices. Canada is hockey country, the U.S. is what? Football I guess. I can imagine the welcome at the airport: Welcome to Canada Coach Prime and  CU Buffs.
