Election Amnesia

2020:
Donald Trump said he won’t accept election results if he doesn’t win. Does traditional media have it on tape somewhere?

2024: Donald Trump told the U.S. Supreme Court there will be ‘chaos and bedlam’ if he is not on the Colorado ballot.

History is repeating itself, or should we say Trump’s history? Below is an old blog 2 August, 2022.

Voters are snakes. They shed their skin. That is why preparing for U.S. mid-terms begins now. Voters act this way in street protests, podcasts, Twitter and Facebook feeds, but act the other way when they are alone in the voting booth, or voting by mail.

That’s why the 3 November 2020 election results were a surprise. The world assumed it was going to be a walk in the park for the Biden/Harris duo.

Why? Not because they ran a meticulous campaign, but because Donald Trump was regarded as a suicidal president through his actions, lies, Tweets and denial that COVID-19 exists, until he caught it. That assumption was wrong. The votes he garnered tell a different story. He represents millions of Americans.

The fact that there was no winner on election day, is the bitter realization that his supporters do not regard him as a madman, a racist, sexist and tax evading capitalist but a preacher, in the Trump church.

We are very selective about what goes through our ears. Trump said he will not accept election results if he doesn’t win. Few listened because that was not possible. Not in America, as the saying goes. That is why nobody thought he meant bloody 6 January and the destruction of a building that is near-pious for America. Did the CIA and FBI know?

Members of his church answered the call and challenged the voting process, that made him president although Hilary Clinton won the popular vote.

Donald Trump is not the problem. It’s church members who will vote for his ministry in Mid-Terms. Does the other side have a strategy to stop them? If they do, keep it under wraps.
