America Still Waiting Trump To Concede

Donald Trump, 4 years late to concede loss of 2020 election.

Vuma (means accept defeat in Zulu).

That’s the word for accept in the language called isi-Zulu. Human beings accept love in different ways. Unfortunately, we would never know how it’s done in many countries because of Hollywood. You need a diamond ring, a restaurant or some crowded place and a man on his knees saying, would you marry me?

Human beings also accept defeat in different ways. A rich politician who loses an election finds it difficult to accept defeat, after all the dollars he sprayed around like confetti, but he doesn’t give up. He’ll spend more money at the next election.

When Hilary Clinton realized that Barack Obama was going to win the nomination for Democrats’ shot at winning the presidential election, she offered to work with him. Apparently, that’s how it is done in America. Accept and align, align yourself with the winning candidate.

Accept is more emotional in the African American church in America. The pastor throws out a thought. The congregation agrees in many ways for example, repeating that thought out loud or raising hands.

Parents break fights over toys. Boys try to wrestle their video games from sisters, who find them more exciting than combing dolls’ hair. Parents make boys accept that ‘she is your sister,’ meaning, she can play with your toys. Share.

Donald Trump Concede

That ‘toy’ mentality comes into play in politics. Despite their rhetoric, politicians regard citizens as toys. Mine. When they lose, they use vindictive rhetoric on social media to reclaim what they perceive as their toys.

The toy analogy is appropriate because of Donald Trump who has six days left in his presidency. He had a toy, America. He liked it, played with it and injected it with toxic drugs to ensure that he keeps it.

Raze America to the ground, if someone takes it. Some kids will smash a toy rather than let other kids in the family play with it.

Therefore vuma (accept defeat), concede, is not in Trump’s vocabulary.
