Fitness Personal Trainer You Yourself
Being your own, in-house personal fitness trainer as in @ home, has advantages and disadvantages. The premium advantage is obvious, flexibility and ability to work out through hail and snow storms.
Before we go any further, let’s back track. It’s not only movie stars and heiresses that have personal trainers. Your downtown or uptown gym also has them. After you sign up, your personal trainer does an assessment to identify damaged areas that need immediate repair. You also give him/her your goals. For example, I want to be size 8 for my wedding dress, 3 months from now. Well! Personal trainers cannot perform miracles.
The disadvantage of being your in-home personal fitness trainer is wishful thinking. Expectations can be high, despite the magnitude of the work and this can lead to injury. Patience has its rewards. Most people use workout routines they learned at commercial gyms or follow online videos they like.
You will surprise yourself when you tweak those routines and feel good about it. Clever, are we? You feel good because it’s not painful. Pain means there’s a problem, you are doing something wrong. There’s an attempt to push the envelope.
Lifting Weights
As an in-home personal trainer, avoid plunging into weights, without going to a commercial gym first. They will give you the basics on how to do it safely.
