Prince Charles Needs Canadian Visa

Africans in apartheid South Africa, the former British colony were thrown in jail
if they did not produce identity documents, known as 'passes.'

When Prince Charles and his wife Camilla arrive in Canada in May, we hope they will produce valid passports stamped with the necessary visa.

Jokes. The Queen’s family does not need a visa for countries they own. They travel freely like the wind, geese and God. We are talking about visas because first settlers that landed in Canada and Australia did not have visas. They sailed to these countries with the blessing of HRH, his royal or her royal highness.

The Queen’s navy did not need permission to sail on any sea and settle in strange lands. Why not? Because she believed there were no real people to be accorded that respect, just a bunch of natives with no clothes on.

We are talking about Prince Charles and visa requirements because once the Queen invaded foreign lands, she made it compulsory that natives carry pieces of paper that allowed them to be in specific places.

Movement in their own country was restricted. Apartheid South Africa should be seen in that context. Passes for Africans, were remnants of documentation the Queen instituted to cage indigenous people in her colonies.

That was then, you argue. It’s all water under the bridge. It is not. Britain was a member of the European Union (E.U), a collective of countries that advocates the free movement of workers and their families, within Europe.

As Prince Charles will recall, free movement is one of the reasons why in June 2016, his country voted to break away from the EU, also known as ‘Brexit.’ It took effect in 2021.

The U.K. left because some immigrants found a loophole in the free movement clause. They made their way to Europe then travelled to their intended destination, London.

One would think that a country that stole countries from around the globe and called them the British Commonwealth, would understand the free movement of people. Britain did not.

That’s why Prince Charles must produce a visa for Canada, come May 17-19.
