Let Deion Sanders do the job he is contracted to do. Let's do our jobs to enable him do his, shall we? Hey! We don't have to like the man. I don't.

Background
: We are nothing, just observers but we shall continue to monitor the situation in Boulder and protect Shedeur. Coaches are like a cartel. They have tradition they want to preserve at all cost. They thought it was threatened in 2023, when Deion Sanders said hello to that Boulder mountain. He gave established coaches the benefit of doubt and accepted suggestions to make him succeed in his new job. It was a set up. Betrayed. Not this year. We are all on the same page that last year's mission to torpedo Deion Sanders is, dead and buried. Are we?

Below is an old blog, 27 August 2024 about monitoring the situation in Boulder.

.................................

Attention CU play callers:

1. Robert Livingston, Colorado Buffaloes, defensive coordinator

2. Pat Shurmur, Colorado Buffaloes, offensive coordinator

These two go way back when. They are career friends. Shurmur recruited Livingston to Colorado Buffaloes. They have their reason for being in Boulder, but the only reason that matters is Deion Sanders’ vision. He is the Head Coach therefore, he represents the University of Colorado’s football vision. These two coaches must not try to sabotage Deion Sanders in any way. Why do you say that?

Shurmur knows the facts. He was there last season. First of all, Travis Hunter was brutally attacked by Colorado State. Secondly, Ryan Staub was the quarterback in the Colorado Buffaloes game against Utah, because Shedeur Sanders was all battered and bruised from being sacked 52 times.

I'll never forget what Ryan Staub said: “I was not hit. I was not hurt.” He was fully protected, but Shedeur was left bare intentionally, to be shipwrecked (sack-wrecked).

Shurmur must treat Shedeur Sanders the same way he treated Ryan Staub, make sure he is not hurt. Shurmur and Livingston must demonstrate that they are not part of college football godfathers that wanted Deion Sanders to be stopped at all cost. He won the first three games of the season and they said: “Hell no! Stop Deion!” They went in-house and derailed him.

All the saboteur coaches have left Boulder and are enjoying their rewards somewhere, for stopping Deion Sanders. We are nothing, just fans but our eyes are trained on Robert Livingston and Pat Shurmur. Are they working for or against Deion Sanders? Are you in or out?

He is the Head Coach and they must respect his plays, the same respect they accorded all head coaches they’ve worked with, before. Plain and simple.
